the start of the war as a lad on the farm and progress's thru his volunteering
for the army, his postings around Britain and then his journey across the
world to the far east to fighting the Japanese in Burma .
His vivid description of what went on during that campaign brings home
the cold truth of killing, death and War that he and many others went
